Alright, I got my ATT ! *YAY!* I am scheduled to take the NCLEX June the 9th. Is this too soon?!?!? I hope not...also what do I need to do to study for this thing? I took the KAPLAN course, and I am doing as many questions as I can get my hands on, but I feel so under prepared...also we have always been taught PAIN is a huge priority...and in NCLEX land it's not...its' all psychosocial..wow...I will have to remember that. I want to pass and I am afraid that I am not doing all that I can for it! Please let me know your suggestions...if any! THANKS!

Hi Pike,

I guess most of us are in the same boat - wondering if we're doing all we can to pass the Boards. We finished school on the 8th but haven't received our ATT's yet - heard it takes a few weeks.

We just graduated on Friday and most of us opted to return to school this week and pay for an NCLEX Review Course. 2 Instructors from a local Univ. are teaching the course - they have their PHD's in Nursing and have done this for several years, so hopefully it'll help us, sure can't hurt. The class last year had 100% pass rate and most took this course, so we're all praying we'll do as well.

They are absolutely "flying" through the material - but highlighting all the points they say will be on the Boards. They keep mentioning things "in real life" and things on the NCLEX - which is different than how we were taught in school, so we shall see. Even with this class, most of us plan to read over our NCLEX Review books until we take the Boards.

I've heard quite a few past graduates from our school say that the NCLEX was easier than any of our Nursing Tests, so hopefully they've prepared us well for it. The entire time in school we were told - if you can Graduate from our Program, you can Pass the Boards. I'm going to take them at their word, study hard, Pray and go into it with a positive attitude and hope for the best, can't do more than that. I Wish You All The Best.. Sue
