Finally have an interview as a new graduate LPN!

After spending 4 hours on Google, calling every LTC, covalescent centers, rehabilitation centers in the two counties around me in one of the hardest states to find a job, I finally have an interview tomorrow for a part time job at 9:30 AM at an adult day care center.

The recruiter is aware that I'm a new graduate and asked me to fax over my resume yesterday. This morning she called me requesting an interview. I'm so happy to have this opportunity! Thank God!

Good luck to everyone out there! Remember to be as persistent as possible. Give everything a little extra touch. Call to thank the person after the interview. Dress professionally but dont shy away from a little color. Make sure you resume looks impeccable, neat and easy to read. Market yourself most importantly.

And besides believing in luck & miracles, above all, believe in yourself.

I'm in the same boat.... I went out on yesterday and did 4 applications and one follow up. Got a return phone call and hopefully an interview soon.... I've been waiting for one month on this agency position and finally going to meet the family tomorrow... Got to.start somewhere....
