I don't right now, but I did. What do you want to know about them?

My Story...

I worked for a facility that was privately owned by a great man. We got Christmas bonus and he did what he could to keep us all happy. Most of the staff was there a long time. It was small ,two floors 85 residents.

In April of 2003 after being there for eight years he sold it to a dual partnership of two men who owned several nursing homes. That was the beginning of the end.

In two months time four nurses who were there for years including myself quit. They changed everything in the facility and instead of getting wonderul people from hospitals or other various facilities, we were recieving vagriants and homeless people from the streets. There were thefts and a rape, yes a rape. After taking a two dollar an hour pay cut from medical staff. ( yes, it is legal I looked into it) I left. I left a job where the staff was wonderful and I loved my residents. I can never go back there, despite being a 12 min commute.I work in a large medical practice now and I enjoy it, but I do miss the nursing home.
