I was planned to start up with Western Governors University on June 1st but now I found out that their transcript evaluation had a "computer error" that said my AP was transferred in from EC. My micro was not accepted due to 2013 changes. I really don't want to take those classes again (at WGU those "two" classes equal out to be 5 classes!!) I looked into chamberlain college and they are so expensive and Excelsior college says I need 60 credit hours to get my BSN!! Whaaaa?! I have an associates in another field so basically all my arts and sciences have always been accepted so 60 credit hours is a lot. I'm beyond frustrated right now with colleges, they are either outrageous in cost or very disorganized and unprofessional. Advice? Anyone?!

I've been looking around lately also. alderson-broaddus may be an option for you.
I don't know where you're getting 60 credits is a lot to need for a bachelor's when all you have is an associate's. that's minimum and you'd be hard pressed to find many places that are still 120 credits for a bachelor's. a lot are 125 now.
For my Master's at WGU I only need 69 credit hours to get my master's. I guess that is what I am going off of. Maybe I should just stick it out with WGU!
whatever works for you. are you looking at the rn to msn? did they send you some sort of degree evaluation/plan? I looked at it recently and thought it was a lot more than that. and of course it will be harder.

But 30 of the 60 hours are allowed for having a valid RN license, leaving only 30 more to go. Or does EC say that you need something else? WGU would not accept either of my sciences from EC in 2010.

I am going to WGU and am in the same boat. But you know, it's assessment based. You can whip through those classes quickly if you know them and if you are planning to go on, most higher level education will require you have those classes with labs. So I am just doing them again also. :)
I need 50CU for my BSN but plan to have 12 done in the first month. :)
