Ideas for marketing?

Nurses Entrepreneurs

Published

I opened up a laser and skin care practice 12/04. I could use hints on how other nurses have been succesfull with marketing without spending 10k a month.....

The buisness is almost paying the cost most months but I woudl like to eventualy be in the black rather than the red. WE have tapped out word or mouth and referals from current clients.

Any advice woudl be appreciated.

Distribute flyers in:

Dermatology Offices (with the office permission); perhaps a reciprical arrangement could be made.

Beauty Parlors.

Free Demos/Informationals to your services in Health Fairs (with before and after pictures).

Include coupons for small free and discounted services (women love a discount).

I do not know if yo are in a large city. In my area, (and I am not a essthetician) we have a significant rural area and I do know of services that travel to these small areas on occasion. Perhaps your equiptment is too large for this but I thought I would mention it anyway.

I hope this helps... Good luck to you and let us know how you are doing.

One of the MD's I know started a skin care line and consultations in the office. She does a few local radio ads in the AM and sends fliers out in the local paper. She offers free consultations ans does prize giveaways to generate business.
