Because we work in the ER and a good majority of our pts lie. So much so that it can jade us when stuff like this happens.

Yeah, everyone that goes to the ER lies.
What he SAID was, "a good majority of our pts lie". He did not say everyone. He SAID that it can jade our opinions. You changed his words.

Beyond that, since you are not a nurse nor a nursing student and your only reason for being in the ER is either as a patient or a visitor, you are not likely to have the same opinion as those who ARE nurses and WORK in the ER. Your frequent trips to the hospital for surgeries, etc, do not give you the perspective of a nurse.

The OP (and you) are posting on a message board specifically for nurses, and you seem surprised to find that a difficult to read rant against nurses isn't resulting in automatic unconditional support of your complaints?

I, too, suggest that any and all complaints about the care you received as a patient be immediately directed to the appropriate person AT the hospital or facility in which the care was received. Not the message boards.

Back to the OP: as you can see from the varied responses, for your own peace of mind, you need to contact Patient Relations at the hospitals. We wish you well.
This is what you need to do, OP. We do wish you well.
