Hmmmmmm So it is. Must be my trifocals again. Great little free resource though. Comes in a wall poster as well as the small booklet form. :smiletea2:

The other resource is a good drug reference book. Many meds are dialyzed out at different rates too so that needs to be taken into consideration.

I too would like very much to have the list that is posted on your wall at work. I intend to study as much as possible. I believe there is a consideration on the rate of metabolisim of these drugs as well. perhaps if you have info on a couple that are excreeted more rapidly that too would be helpful. I am trying to determine if this or correctional nursing would be where I would be the best servant for the people. I am praying, I must admit, any new thing brings with it fear, but I as well am excited, I hope my ability to learn far outweighs the other. Thank you to all that would respond. I have to say this is so woderful to be able to receive and give information.

It depends on the kidney used. A good example is Vancomycin. High flux dialyzers will pull it off where as high efficiency ones will not. Our doctors won't use high flux for that reason. Too much can be dialyzes out. High flux lets larger molecules through. The above mentioned reference booklet has two separate columns for both types of kidneys.
