Soon-to-be LPN with a question...

Greetings,
This is my first post, but I have been lurking for some time;) . I am graduating from LPN school in a few days, and I am seeking some input from you guys.
I have applied for a few varying nursing positions and PHS has called me back about a position at a county jail. I have researched this forum and found mixed reviews regarding PHS, but nothing super recent...So, can anyone share their experiences with me?

PHS used to have the contract in Indiana, but they lost it. That's about all I can tell you about them. The nurses I know that worked for them complained alot, BUT, PHS was the first contract to take over and most people don't like change. They aren't any happier with the current contract.

I work for a county jail under PHS and I suppose it really just comes down to benefits. I haven't had a need to deal directly with PHS on anything so the only opinion I have is based on the benefits. They're not the best but certainly better than some. You pay into the health insurance, dental and vision but not a huge amount at all. I don't like their sick policy because unless you're out for several days with a Dr.'s note, you would have to use your vacation time if you call out sick for a day. That's all I can think of so far, but let me know if you have any specific questions.

The interview went great, and I was impressed with the staff and the facility. The entire corrections environment was completely different from what I had expected, and I'm looking forward to getting started.
