Hi everyone,

Well, BHSN begins accepting applications very soon. I am going to send mine in by the end of the week. Last year, I waited til the end and was wait-listed, and then the program was full before they got to me.

I just wanted to start a post for us applying this year for the fall of 2011. Good luck to all.

Congratulations studentnurse

:di just received my acceptance letter after a long wait. i applied in october and took the teas in november. i am super excited and can't wait to start in the fall!! i look forward to meeting other classmates. i also applied to ncc but will hear back in the spring time, however bhsn was my first choice based on the extra clinical time. i can't wait and still can't contain my excitement. good luck to everyone else! :yeah:

I was accepted last month. I am waiting hear back from GWCC so I can compare my options. GWCC might work out better with my employer/schedule. It is also a lot closer to me. I have a mortgage and need insurance so I will be working 32 hours a week, especially the first year. I will try to makek BHSN work, I am so excited about the program. I requested the partial evening program are you doing days or evening?

I plan on doing days since the partial evening changes over to day anyways. I also figured more people would do days and being the social person I am. Congrats on your acceptance as well:yeah: Hopefully you get into your first choice so you can juggle work and school. Im so nervous reading these threads. A lot of people say it is a very difficult program!

Congrats to all those that have been accepted into the Fall 2011 BHSN program. I just got my acceptance letter today Whoo Hoo I am beyond ecstatic!! I too was getting nervous as I applied back in October and was reading how some who applied after me got accepted back in December yet I had still not heard anything. I also applied at NVCC but have not heard anything yet. I have heard alot of good things about BHSN so I am really excited yet very nervous. Good luck to every one.

I think any program related to the life's of people is going to be hard. But it is definitely doable. My husband is working Full time and in his last semester of nursing as we speak.

I had surgery today, all the nurses I met went to BHSN they were all so great and wished me luck in whatever program I attend.

@Heartsdesire Congrats on your acceptance:yelclap: Are you going to attend? I just paid my deposit yesterday. I also applied to NCC but BHSN is my first choice.

@StudentnurseCT How did your sugery go? I hope that you are well and have a speedy recovery. That is great to hear there are some awesome nurses out there who graduated from BHSN

@ Undergradbio yes I plan on attending. From what I have read and researched BHSN has a very reputable program and while it will be a commute for me I have a feeling it will be worth it. Congrats on your acceptance.
