:uhoh3: hello everyone... I am a CNA with my HHA,CPR and First Aid behind me also.Right now I work for a HHA company(only for a month) and I applied for a job at a hospital. The title is clinical svcs tech II but the definition for that says CNA. Well when I saw it was for a CNA I check the box for the job and I got a call back in a couple hrs. Now I have an interview tomorrow and I have no clue really what the details of the job is (other than CNA) and I don't know what to say or do at the interview? I have never heard of a clinical svcs tech(let alone a tech II)and I'm not sure what I have got my self into.I did send my resume(very small cause I have really no experience)..........Does anyone have any idea what a clinical service tech does???? An maybe what should I say at the interview??????

They probably do additional skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, dressings, glucose testing, catheter insertion, and such. I suspect that they called you back so shortly after because they saw that you do have other skills behind you and think that you can possibly hold the job. You can ask them what the skills entail (that is a fair question) and then, say that you are interested in learning additional skills and responsibility to serve the patients and assist the nurses. It may also be because there is a high turnover. Either way, it sounds like a position where you can learn a great deal. Show interest, ask how long is the orientation, and if they mention it, ask where you can learn these additional skills.

If you really want to know what their definition of the position is, you can always call HR before the interview and ask them what the position entails. They should gladly offer this information up to you.
