Ok say you trained at a nursing home in a different town and they want you to work at that nursing home but once you get licensed you decide you wanna work in your home town..Could they revoke your license because you didn't stay there?

CNAs don't have licenses, per se, as would an LPN or RN. We just have certifications.

These are regulated by the state.

So no, just because you quit at a facility doesn't mean they can revoke your certification.

However, you may be obligated to work at that facility for a certain length of time if you signed a contract to work there in exchange for free CNA training. I'm not sure how quitting in those circumstances would work.

Ok thanks Coffee...sorry i meant certificate..my bad!

only the state can take your certification with due process under the law.

Most places that offer you "free" training will require you to work there for 6mos-1yr. If you do not stay there for the required amount, you will probably have to pay them back for the training.
