I am NOT a prude by any stretch but come on ladies!!! I haven't read any of the trilogy but saw the author interviewed several times and heard about it from friends/family. I am up to 2 patients and 1 visitor over 4-5 months. I was afraid I would be interrupting something when I had to go back into the 2 patient's rooms!!!

I actually thought the book was rather tame compared to the hype.

Well.

I understand where you are coming from ive been a CNA for 20 years , i've seen all the trends, but honestly id rather they get the jollys from the book than lean on the call light for enjoyment!! But u are right , some things should be read at home ...lol

Incidently its based on a piece of Twilight fan fiction.

What could possibly have greater literary merit than that?

I think it's nice that people still read books, even fluffy books, rather than flip on Maury to see who's really the father.

Just remember, if their heart rate spikes suddenly on the tele monitor, KNOCK before rushing in the room...

Meh, I feel bad for writers of erotic fiction that actually have writing skills. 50 Shades is just too badly written for me to waste my time on it.

There are some fantastically hilarious reviews of this book online - most notably good reads.

I've seen staff caring around the book too. And I'm in a catholic hospital :0 But for reals, whatever. I think it would be a silly thing to judge people on.

It's a book. :nono:

Now if they were sneaking a handsome man named Christian Grey into the room, I would be worried...

Exactly.
