Okay, so im freaking out. I have a pre-employment physical tomarrow and i smoked marajuana last night. I am sixteen and applying for a CNA job at a nursing home. I know, I shouldnt have done that but I wasnt thinking. Also my friend and I t employed together and she had the same physical but before me and she said all they didnws tke blood and a TB test no urine sample. So i thought maybe it would be good to smoke because they werent drug testing. Im still freaking out, anyone help? Are they not going to drug test me? Is there going to be a drug test? If so how can I pass it? Shouldnt they tell me prior to the drug test? Please help :(

You can't pass it. There is no explanation as it's illegal on the federal level. If you are tested this will be a hard lesson to learn especially as a minor.

We cannot give medical advice. We don't give advice on how to cheat tests. If they give a test....You can't pass it. This will be a valuable lesson for you. Simple things can have big consequences. Only the employer knows what they are going to test. Every employer I know of in MA drug screen.

If you plan on the medical profession I suggest you not indulge in illegal substances. It can affect your future and the ability to be a nurse if that is in your future. It is a big deal for the medical profession. Just hope your friend its right.

If you have substance abuse issues maybe seek the help of a professional.

I know you are going to not appreciate the advice. I am all for legalizing marijuana but that fact is it is not legal and certainly not for a minor. You need to prioritize what you want in the future and what you are going to do with the rest of your life. You may also have another concern if they report it to the authorities.
