Newly certified CNA applying for reciprocity.?

I just got certified as a CNA in Massachusetts a week ago and also found out that I have to move to Georgia at the end of this month. I have not yet been employed with my CNA cert in Massachusetts and will not be able to work in MA before I move to GA in two weeks because there is no time. I wanted to know if I will have to take the state exam over again in GA because I haven't been employed in MA under my cert or could I jus apply for reciprocity in GA because I am newly certified? I have been everywhere online to see if i could get some info on my specific situation but have found nothing.Someone please help if you know anything.

As long as you have the actual cert and it is not expired and you have not had anyone make complaints to the registry or have felonies - most states pretty much give you repricocity without a hard time.

If you do not have the actual cert, or it is expired, you will have to either take the class again or get hired at a place that takes uncertified aides. You will find your paycheck looking very crappy, though if you have no cert or experience and you may not qualify for agency.

Check with Georgia's Board of Nursing. A lot of my classmates got their CNA license's endorsed to other states right after we finished the class.
