I'm looking for a job and I wanna know which is good to work facilities or company that gives you patient to work in home? Is that scary ?

Oh ok thanks thou

They both have their pros and cons. I've worked both the facility and home health and I enjoyed both. I would rather work in a facility over home care. Depending which neighborhood you go into and what time you work it can be a little scary going into someone's home, you do not have security, back up, and you are all alone, sometimes the families don't want to help you out and make things easier and expect you to do everything, and a lot of homes aren't clean as well.[/quote']

I know I heard of that news too, I'm worry to myself working in home some might Harass you. Hopefully not! But for sure they want you to clean their homes too. I bet!

I work in home health and do not do any homemaking services. I take vitals and assist with bathing. I think when you apply for jobs, it's important to look for CNA and not Caregiver positions. At least in my area, Caregiver indicates that you will also be housecleaning, meal prep etc. Unless, of course, that's what you want to do :)
