Help-What should I do?

I'm wanting to go to LPN School, but they won't test for that until September, and then the classes won't start until January 2009, I was wanting to know if it would be a good idea to take a CNA course, its only 12 weeks long, to get some experience under my belt, or should I just wait it out to see if I will pass the test and to see if they will accept me or not, its a hard decision.

Taking the CNA course would be a good way to pass the time while waiting. You'll learn some very basic nursing skills along the way. Good luck to you!

Nursing Assistant is a good way to pass time and it will give you a little more of what to expect in your LPN course and of course you will also have experience which is always a plus!

I'm a CNA and am also in VN school...We did a lot of similar stuff while in the 1st term....It was all CNA stuff as a matter of fact....it was a breeze during the clinical portion....It is a good way to get your feet wet in order to pass time...you can also work 2 days a week or so while you're in school if you choose to....Good Luck!

Take the CNA class!! That way you can get a job that will help you when you are in LPN classes, you will learn a lot!!:)
