This is a discussion on Cna test on Monday in CNA/MA - Nursing / Medical Assistant, part of Nursing Student ... I am so nervous, not about the written part but the skills part, and I've been practicing non-stop....
by marsqueen Feb 14I am so nervous, not about the written part but the skills part, and I've been practicing non-stop. I've been practicing 5 or 6 skills a day for the past two weeks, some skills more than once obviously, and I still feel nervous. Is it really that bad, or am I just psyching myself out.

- Feb 14 by jhaupert813I was really nervous too! When I finished, I totally thought I had bombed my skills portion. It really wasn't that bad though, and I psyched myself out! Good luck on Monday!
- Feb 14 by cjyffI took mine a month ago, SOO NERVOUS. But it was fine. If you've been practicing and its all fresh you'll be fine! Good luck!

- Feb 14 by Sally LouI was nervous too.
I only had to do pulse, and ROM (shoulder, arm, wrist, fingers).
Good Luck! - Feb 15 by IHeartNursing321You will be fine! In FL, if you make a mistake while doing the clinical skills portion, you can say what your mistake was and fix it before you are done with the skill. Like I was so nervous, I forgot to wear gloves while brushing someone's teeth! So I just told the evaluator I made the mistake and it was okay, I fixed it. But its not bad at all, just go through the skills step by step in your head while you are performing them, and take your time (but not too long since it's timed

Good Luck! - Feb 15 by marsqueenQuote from IHeartNursing321I think that's pretty much the same here, except if you miss a critical step, then I don't know if you can go back and correct that. You will be fine!
