Hi there everyone,

Can anyone shed some light as to how they set up the skills test for you in the state of Florida?

Thanks.... :)

Would anyone in or near Jacksonville Florida like to get together to pratice the CNA clinical skills? I took a training course to challenge the exam at the Red Cross and I don't know my test date yet. I would like to stay in practice. I can bring friends to practice on Monday's and Wednesday's during the day at the Red Cross. If any one is interested please contact me. My ph no. is 9 0 4 - 3 4 9 -2 0 8 9

I did not pass until the 3rd try, I took my training through the Red Cross in Brandon, Fl. The first state test was in Plant City, the next in Lakeland and the 3rd in St. Petersburg. the thing that ****** me was that when you fail the first try, they did not tell me the ones that I failed so that I could study on them and better myself when I tested again. I have now taken my test in Tennessee since I am transferring and Tennessee does not recognize reciprocities for CNS's from Georgia. I had to take both the written and skills AGAIN! I was forst told by TN. Nurse Registry that I would only have to take the TN. Written Comp Skills and they evidently had a problem in communication because NHC-Chattanooga had to call TN. registry and get it str8end out and I ended up taking both! You talk about being ticked! and thats putting it lighlty!

Yes I've already challenged the exam summer of '09. I passed the written and failed the clinicals so I'm hoping that I pass the clinicals this time. I wish you luck on passing the boards in TN.
