AUA would be less stress flu and like the poster above stated you will have greater flexibility. You will also have the opportunity to see what RNs do. I;m in school and work as a cna on a med-surg floor and the hours work great with my schedule for school. Before I worked in the hospital i work a 8-5 job as a medical assistant and felt like i didn't have much time to myself let alone to study. I went straight to class after work so i did not have anytime to study right before tests. And that was M-F. The odds of finding a pt MA position in OKC are slim to none. So IMO the AUA route is the better way to go!

Which would be easier to do while in college? I am going to tech next year and cant decide whether to do the combined aua and cna or the medical assistant program. I wanna work as one of these in college but which would be easier to get a job, better pay, less stressful ect... pros and cons of each would be appriceated. i wanna eventually be a l&d nurse or icu nurse please help me, im lost and need some advice!!
