Blood pressure: NY question

Do CNA's take blood pressure? I was looking through the practical skills list, and saw blood pressure. I was a cna years ago, and this wasnt part of the skills test. So I am just curious if things changed. .. Any info?

Im in Wisconsin. We were not taught bp in class and it wasn't on the skills test but my hospital allows cnas to do bp

yes, but more difficult than having a(n experienced) helper

i suggest to read about the physiology first and understand what it actually is

in essence a tourniquet

i like to teach by obtaining B/P by palp first

less equipment to begin with
