Just looking for a patient care tech class in the area. I signed up for one through the community college, but they cancelled it.

Good Luck! :D

Sorry to bump up an old thread...but I was wondering if either of you have taken classes at Walker? I'm starting the CNA course next Monday and was just looking for some feedback on the school! Planning on taking the Phlebotomy/EKG/PCT class after the CNA class!

I took the CNA class at Walker Medical. It seemed good although I dont have anything to compare to.

I have been working as a CNA for 2 years now and rarely meet people who went anywhere else.

I wouldn't take walkers pct class, it's 2000 dollars. I just took one at GRCC, and it was 600$.

Thanks Emmasma!

azcna-Do you have info on GRCC PCT class that you could pass along? The only thing I found on their website was that Walker offered a PCT course?

Just go to grccs continuing Ed website. It might be a month or two before they offer it again.

Is it the Acute Care Advanced Skills class? If so, I found it!
