Hey I just started this semester make sure you take the logic and critical thinking for philosophy, take economics, cultural diversity for sociology on top of the culture and society sociology, and some class called principles of ethics. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE SYLLABUS WITH DEVRY FIRST TO MAKE SURE THEY MATCH UP

I am just taking the first year classes online. I get out of the Navy in October. I will be done with the pre-reqs to the actual nursing classes in September. Then if i get accepted I will start taking onsite classes at the houston location.
Thats so cool, hope all works out and good luck! Chamberlain is a great school and I cant wait to get accepted .

I just got my acceptance call last week. I am still in the Army, so I am hoping I can start in May doing online courses, and transition to on-site in September when I get out. Hope to see you there !

How long after you took your HESI did it take to get the call? I just took mine Friday.. Made an 87..

It was about 3 weeks from going down and taking the HESI. What took awhile was getting my transcripts sent in. I sent for them prior to taking the HESI, and they just barely got them in on time for last week's committee meeting.

Oh ok.. I sent mine in a long time ago, but 3 weeks isn't bad at all. Do you think I got everything I'm time to start in may?

You should as long as everything is in, I.E., transcripts, HESI, application. From what I understood, they have their admissions committee meeting at least once per month. I know my next step is to meet with the enrollment advisor, get my plan of study set up, and do the background and drug screens. Luckily my financing is already taken care of since I have my post-911 GI bill to use, and they are a yellow ribbon school.

Oh that's awesome! I'm so nervous about paying for it!!

So there's no interview or anything?

There is an interview with an admissions counselor. If I were you I would call the campus tomorrow to schedule it as soon as you can. I was very encouraged at how professional my advisor was, and how well the process went. I ended up taking my HESI and doing my interview on the same day, since I am active duty military stationed 4 hours away from campus.

Oh I've had my interview with my admissions counselor. Is there no interview with the dean as part of the admissions process?
