Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

Hi Slangley09

I got it Thanks. I also responded.

I'm taking the same classes you took. The philosophy I think that's what it is health and wellness and transitions in nursing. My classes haven't been registered yet. I will register on the 27th.

Ok cool. I'm taking philosophy in January also and Pharmacology, I'm alittle skeptical about taking pharmacology because I was suppose to take it on campus but due to low enrollment they cancelled it and now I'm taking it online. I've heard that it's a hard class so I don't know if it's a good idea to take it online. I'm so confused trying to figure out what 's the best thing to do.

If you don't mind me asking, how are you paying for classes. I really don't want to take out a private loan but I'm going to have to. At least until September when I can get my bright futures scholarship back. That's so far away though. Ew pharm online?! How disgusting lol. That sounds like torture!

Can you apply for scholarships without being accepted into a nursing program?? Any help would be great!!

I think you can apply for general school scholarships but not nursing scholarships if you are not in a program yet

I graduated back in August from UNF with a degree in Public Health, so this is actually my second bachelors degree which means that I cannot get any grants or anything like that. I used some of my federal loans but still had a balance, so they helped me set up payment arrangements where I pay part of my balance every month. I really don't want to take out private loans, but I might have to eventually. I'm so scared of taking pharm online, it just don't sound doable. I tried talking to students on campus but they all took it in class and said it was difficult, so just imagine much harder it will be taking it online.

Hi I will be taking NR 101 and NR 222 in January at the Atlanta campus. Which instructors are recommended for these courses?

I have alreadytaken pharmacology at another school (in class). I would never take it onlineand I wonder why they would offer such a class online. Am sure you can do itbut I would not advice anyone to take it online, just my opinion.
