Chamberlain Atlanta

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

I am thinking about going to Chamberlain. I was a community college in St. Louis, but recently moved to Georgia. I want to get going and get my career going.

Is there anyone on here that is/has went to Chamberlain?

Pros/Cons? What are the major requirements?

I just need some insight on the school. They say there isn't a wait list, is that true?

Is it worth the money? I have all but two pre-reqs done, so I don't think it cost as much.

Is it a good/decent school to get a nursing degree from?

OH yet if you want to pay out of pocket, they will let you pay half from the first session and the other half the second session. But if its financial aid, it will go by semester because you get to pick out your classes for the two sessions in the semester.

I just took out a 15k loan from Wells Fargo for the 2014-2015 school year. I plan to get gov loans to cover the rest. 2015-2016 I'll take out another... But for 2016 I plan to pay completely out of pocket. Sony007, when are you on track to graduate?

Hi Everyone..I am taking the Hesi a couple of weeks for Illinois. I've heard the AP and Chem is not factored into your score...is this true? Also, any pointers? I've heard it's easy to get in, hard to stay in. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi AshBrock1091, sorry for responding so late, I haven't been on this site for a while and was just spending time prepping and just having some vacation time before starting the long accelerated program. I was plan to finish by 2016 spring semester. Right now, I'm volunteering every Sunday at Piedmont hospital Atlanta division at surgical med area, it's really interesting there, and got a lot to learn from the other nurses there.

Are there any Facebook Groups for Chamberlain-Atlanta students? Or one for those graduating in 2016? I'd really like to get a good network.

I'm looking to start In May, unsure of my graduation date but I'm looking to transfer all of my credits from a previous school. So I'm hoping 2016.

Hello kymber281624 I am expected to start in May, but I have to take my Hesi tomorrow. I am concerned about out of pocket expenses. I also have a lot of credits from GPC and Clayton state.

I'm tryi to understand the rational behind this please. You are taking out a loan to pay for a loan and addtional fees. Sorry to sound foolish, but I am really concerned about how to pay for school. I have never taken out a loan.

majority of people have to take a loan out with this school.
