Time off Before School Starts

I am starting my CRNA program at the end of August...I need to let my NM know my last day...should I take a vacation for a week or two to mentally prepare myself for school? I had planned on working right up until a couple of days before, but am now reconsidering...maybe a few days at home would be nice to clear my mind before school!

I start school at the end of August as well. My last day of work is July 27, and I am counting the days!!! I would take as much time as you can. An extra month of borrowing $$ will make no difference in the long run, but the time off will!

I'm going to Hawaii for a week before school starts at the end of August, and then I'll be doing a 3 day big game fishing trip off San Diego. I'm packing my last weeks of freedom in before the first day of class. Take advantage of whatever free time you have before school starts.

If you've never been to Europe, I highly recommend it. A backpacking trip from hostel to hostel could be a fun and contemplative way to prepare yourself for a lot of sitting and studying.

...Or maybe you're more of a beach person.
