Detroit Universities anyone?

The hospital placement is also quite important, and these can change in the program. You are talking at least four years away, so worry now about your grades, etc.....................I grew up in MI and just left there 18 months ago and have worked at many of the hospitals there. Students are equally good from both programs, major thing is the hospital for rotation.........

thank you for your suggestion, I'm an RN will have BSN in a year and a half. which hospital do you recommend, beaumont or ford's, I'd greatly appreciate your reply

Each of those hospitals is sooooooo completely different. And their specialties differ. Hearts are great at both Beaumont and Ford, but for neuro, you can't beat Ford....................more trauma at Ford...best advice that I would have is to go and visit each campus. They are both quite large and are in different parts of the city. Ford is downtown and is considered to

be an inner city hospital, however, on the plus side, their docs are all salaried staff members of the hospital versus most of Beaumonts' being private.

If you have any other questions further down the line, don't hesitate to ask.

thank you both for your info, it is very much appreciated, CRNA, DNCs, I did see that Henry Ford had voluntary closure status, guess I was just hoping they would start up again, love to have completed clinical there, it's an awesome teaching hospital. Guess my decisions are being made for me :chuckle thank you both
