A questions to the moderators

Why are the threads either censored or closed everytime a debate gets interesting? I notice this happens quite a bit, especially in the CRNA forums. I thought the forums were about expressing ideas. "Argument" or "discussion", isn't point and counter point what its all about? I don't get it.

Also, I was going back through some older threads and I noticed that a moderator closed a thread on a discussion originated by a nurse who was a self-described drug addict who asked for encouragement and support to help him/her get over the habit and to get professional help. I didn't get the closure of that thread either.

I hope this doesn't upset anyone. I was just wondering.

Politics are fair game right?

Frank

Not in a thread that isn't about politics. We prefer to keep that to the current events forum, and even then, respectfully.

OT, but thank you Marie for your sig. line. I always wondered what the heck Cheap Trick were singing there.

I am not offended. I am just amused. I stand corrected. I assumed someone was a liberal democrat. I should of realized that in nursing it is just as likely a socialist/green party Naderite.

Where are the socialist party nurses and green party nurses?

Have I missed something recently?

I believe that I stated that political parties are tools of satan. That refers to ALL POLITIC PARTIES. Not merely the two most prevalent ones.

I have yet to see where I have espoused either green, naderite, or socialist doctrines.

And since "outsourcing" is efficiency improving and cost effective, it is a very capitalistic venture and quite frankly more in keeping with conservative politics than liberal ones.

Perhaps one should not make assumptions based on facts not in evidence.

And as this has veered way off topic, may I suggest that any political discussion of presumed Nursing politics be moved to "Current Events" as it does not belong here.
