New to CTICU ... Any Book Recommendations?

Hope to get a job in the CTICU after 2 years of med/tele. Can anyone recommend any books I should read to get a good intro for a nurse new to the specialty? Any "bibles" that I should have? Thanks!

I have Bojar's book, but have held off on Hardin's. Can you compare the two? I've read Hardin's is much more nursing focused, while Bojar's is much more MD focused (seems to be the case imo). What is your take? Thanks.

Agreed... and Hardin's is also a great book to study for the CSC (Cardiac Surgery Certification) ... Honestly their both great in there own right... so i would invest in both...

Thanks for the suggestions. I found the Hardin book in the health science library of my hospital. I borrowed it and will look at it within the next few days. Looks comprehensive. I'll decide after reviewing it if I want my own copy.

In the meantime, I have been reading Fast Facts for the Cardiac Surgery Nurse, it's very basic but I like that for now.
