Second degree applicant to McGill

World Canada CA Programs

Published

I was wondering if anyone knew anyone who applied as a transfer or second degree applicant. The website indicates that the admission average was around 3.0-3.3 but my friend in the program I would get in even if my grades are a bit lower.

Thanks!

The minimum requirements are a 2.7 cGPA. I graduated from McGill in 2014, and I was informed they don't have an official 'cap'. So you'll probably get in as long as you have the pre-requisites and your GPA is high enough. It's easier to get in, but a lot harder to stay in type of deals. If you have to retake a course, you're held back a year and if you fail a nursing course (NUR1) twice you're kicked out of the program.

No idea, but that's my alma mater and I just wanted to say I hope you get in because it's a fantastic (hard working) time ;) so worth it.
