RPN to RN

Hello all,

I would like to know which step to follow to become a RN. I'm a currently in the part time RPN program at Seneca college. I will be graduating soon. I know Seneca offers bridging to RN at York, but its full time only. I'm not able to go to school in the morning so that's why I went at night (part time). Once I'm done with the RPN program and pass the CNO exam, I want to bridge to RN. I heard a lot of people saying that you have to first enroll in a bridging program then do another two years at either York or Ryerson. So i guess my question is, what's the proper way to bridge in to RN; like how long is it. Any clarification would help.

Full time is approximately three years.

Part- time varies based on the school. Centennial/Ryerson offers a part-time program where you attend class one night/week and it is held at different Regional Access Centers throughout the province. This goes year round and the first 6 semesters are through Centennial before you enter into the Ryerson portion. It takes close to 5 years to finish.

There are other part-time programs but I don't know too much about them!

You can do the bridging program part-time at Centennial college. Then from there you do 2 years at Ryerson (which can also be part-time) and graduate with your bachelors.
