Does anyone have an idea when the applications go up for the Winter 2015 cohort for UCLA RN new grad residency? Also, what is the minimum GPA required to apply? I have heard different things; some such as GPA at UCLA matters to an extent and others say that you need an extremely high GPA. My GPA is not low by any means, but it is average. Thanks!

They didn't say that. I was just guessing based on an old timeline

I asked if patient letter of recommendation was ok. They said yes.

Hi all. I applied as an external candidate. I chose CCU, Surgical/Transplant ICU and Medical ICU. I've got the information from UCLA nurse recruiter that if selected to interview, invitations will go out by the beginning of November and interviews will be on preselected days the first 2 weeks of December. Wishing all of us have the best of luck!!

Thanks- she did not give you a specific time range? Nov 1-14?

Hi HopefulRN4. She just told the beginning of Nov. I guess it will begin on Nov. 3 for interview invitation. Keep us posted if there are any updates from you guys. Thanks!

Has the status if your applcation changed from online assessment completed?

Has anybody had their status changed to 'routed to hiring supervisor'? on 10/20 ,

Mine changed today to routed to interviewing supervisor! :)

Mine changed today to routed to interviewing supervisor! :)

That's awesome! Congrats on making it to the next step :) just wondering, what units did you apply for?

Congrats!! Mine is still "Online Assessment Completed" :(

Wondering application status for those who are scheduled for interview will be updated ONLY today??

I applied to observation tele, medical ICU, and cardiac thoracic ICU! I applied internally, so don't lose hope anyone! I have several classmates who applied externally whose status has not changed yet either, and others who applied internally who either have or have not. Don't worry! Keep your heads up! I think my status JUST changed today. Keep checking! :) Good luck to all! I'll keep posted on here.
