Ca rn 2011. Got through the second interview with assistant unit manager and cns. Got asked alot of repeat questions and was told we should know officially by mid next week. How did yours go?

Hey Buckeye-

I've been meaning to get on here to get back to you. So, yes similar to the first interview, and with the same two people yours was with- just behavioral questions, relocation, the program, etc. It seemed rushed, about 20 min. It was difficult to gauge how they responded to me over the phone. I hope not being in person doesn't affect their decision. They said the same to me about letting me know by the end of this week or even mid next week. They said they are doing interviews all week, I wonder how many people total are being considered? I wanted to know by now, since I am going to start at a senior care center and was hoping to know for sure by now...oh well. Wish us both the best! I'll let you know when I hear anything.

I interviewed for the perioperative training program on Dec 5. Are you scheduled for an interview?

Ya i had an interview the same day! Do you know how many people they are hiring or interviewing?

To those who got hired... Have you receive a phone call by the occupational health facility to set up an appointment for a pre employment physical?

I called them to set up an appointment last week. I'm doing my other stuff on that day also like fingerprints etc.

Hey MrNurse2011,

My manager mentioned that they will call me. Should I just call them instead or just wait since I won't start till close to end of February? Btw, are you from LA? I am from Northern California. Just wondering if you were successful in finding a place?

Thanks,

JMac

Ca rn 2011. They said they are hiring between 2-4 new grads. I will be praying for us both!!

I think you still have plenty of time. If the manager told you that then I think you should wait. I start in the third week of January so my physical is early.

I'm not from LA and I'm still looking for a place right now. Its pretty expensive lol.

I asked how many they were hiring, they said they never had a set # of nurses hired, they just picked those who they think are most qualified. I don't know how many interviewed for the position, but it seemed like there were interviews every 30 mins.

NurseMeBSN, I just realized you're the girl who interviewed right before me :) hi!!

Liver Transplant ICU applicants,

I called the UD yesterday (because the anticipation is killing me) and she said they are still in the process of making their final decision and we should here from her by friday.

Good luck Everyone!!!

I just had my second interview for L&D RR and i was told that they would not have a decision until Early to Mid January .... Good luck to everyone and congrats to those offered positions!!!!
