U.S.A. California

Hello everyone. The wait in California for LVN/LPN is outrageous.

I graduated LVN: May 21, 2014

Received my letter to test: July 16, 2014

ATT email: July 17, 2014

NCLEX PN: July 23, 2014

As soon as I got home I did the PVT trick and I got the good pop up. Now the wait is on again!!! I was told the average time is about 3 weeks. So I'm hoping that is the case and I won't have to drive myself crazy.

NCLEX PN takers what was your processing time in California?? Is anyone currently waiting like I am now??

I took my Nclex PN July 1th ,did the pearson vue trick and got the good pop up,got my passed letter July 26th ,sent my check with the letter July 28th ,I tracked USPS and they received by July 30th ,let's see how long will take to get my license on the mail .

Thanks for commenting @Nalencars

Seems like the average NCLEX PN mailed results have been around 3 weeks. Receiving your actual license seems to be another 3-4 weeks.

This waiting around is no joke.

I feel you on the wait! I graduated April 16 got my ATT June 6th my email ATT June 9th took my NCLEX-PN July 30th (please baby Jesus let me pass lol) did the "Pearson Vue Trick" and got the Good Pop Up! So hopefully it's accurate! Now I wait for my official results :/ I'm guessing three weeks :( Why does Cali have to be so long to get things moving for us new grads lol?

@imanurse2byo California is soooo shamefully slow processing LVN paperwork. I'm hopeful of the PVT but it'll be a was it lifted off my shoulders once I get that document saying I passed.

In the mean time we wait ?

I just registered and I'm freaking out. I'm also in California. How long did you guys wait to schedule your test?

Well I got my ATT June 9th but I didn't want to test right away.... Cause I was scared lol... So I scheduled (and took it) July 30th (I hope I passed lol) but there was a lot of dates I could have chosen earlier if I were brave enough lol good luck! The test was tricky and confusing but if you study it's doable! It stopped at 85 for me so either I did awesome or terrible lmaoooo :D

I received my ATT July 17th. I tested for the NCLEX PN the following week because I had already been studying prior to getting my ATT. Now I'm waiting for my mailed results.

I just got my att today. The earliest date available was Monday and I have school that day so I scheduled it for the next available appointment which is 2 weeks out.

I took my NCLEX-PN the same day as you and I only did the PVT on Friday and got the good pop up. I plan on driving my happy butt up to Sacramento and delivering my check and getting my license myself. Now I'm looking for an IV cert class!

Congrats on your pass!!!

@Kellymarie1537 thank you. Congrats to you as well. I plan on making that drive also. As soon as I get my letter stating I passed I'm headed to Sacramento as well.

I did my IV/Blood withdrawal through: http://www.ebmanio.com

I went with all my classmates. She only takes large groups, but she was great and affordable.
