Hello everyone. The wait in California for LVN/LPN is outrageous.
I graduated LVN: May 21, 2014
Received my letter to test: July 16, 2014
ATT email: July 17, 2014
NCLEX PN: July 23, 2014
As soon as I got home I did the PVT trick and I got the good pop up. Now the wait is on again!!! I was told the average time is about 3 weeks. So I'm hoping that is the case and I won't have to drive myself crazy.
NCLEX PN takers what was your processing time in California?? Is anyone currently waiting like I am now??
After you send your money for your official license how long does it take sent my money in on the nov 10th still waiting for the official to start applying for jobs need that license number it's for lvn in California
It takes around 3weeks usually. But around this time of year it seems to come faster I heard.
Man, you guys are lucky..the wait time has dramatically improved from when I took it. Back when I took it the wait for the ATT was 4 months, the wait for the NCLEX results was a month, and the wait for the license card was 2 months. My actual wait time was 11 months because of some stupid red light ticket I got when I was 18 and they had to investigate me and make sure I was "safe to practice". You'd think with all the money we pay them they'd move a little faster!

It depends on the area. Northern California makes more. So it can be between $16 to $35.
$16 to $25 through nursing registries and skilled nursing facilities. And $28 to $35 at hospitals like Kaiser and Sutter Health.
