Hi! Just starting a thread for the March 2014 Stanford RN Residency application. If you haven't applied yet, deadline is Nov. 25th at noon. Good luck, everyone!

congrats Noodlesauce! i still haven't heard a thing - and my status says that it was last updated on 5/7. sigh. wonder if i'll even get a rejection letter?

Does your status say application in review? That's what mine says. Hang in there 1 more day. They will be making calls until June 20 I believe.

thanks Noodlesauce. yep. it says application in review - and has for a while now. have you heard of people getting rolling rejection letters?

The only rejection letters I've heard of are the ones people received early on for not passing the behavioral questionnaire. Other than that I know nothing. Stay positive!

My app stiiillllll says "in review"...Trying to stay positive, but getting antsy! At least studying for the NCLEX is keeping me busy :)

Emailed them and they said the 27th now they were trying to be done by, for making calls. Who knows if they just say that though.

All right here we go, 1 more week, hopefully!

Who did you email? and thanks for the update boots88 !!

I feel your pain NikMac, this wait is driving me crazy. Good luck with NCLEX!

Welp, no word from Stanford, but I was excited (small wins here, people) to see that my status date changed from May 7 to today, so that must mean that they've at least LOOKED at my application...

Anyone else get an interview? It this week and I'm so nervous. It's my first interview ever! Would love to talk to someone in the same position for some inspiration

Specializes in ICU.

Honestly, the best advice I can give is to be yourself, and try to relax. The people on the panel are professional and caring, and want everyone to do well. Just try to be confident in who you are.

Good luck!

You'll be fine Noodlesauce. I interviewed on Monday and found the panel went out of their way to put our group at ease. There were 8 individuals on the panel which was more than I expected but this was a very kind and professional group. I have been in panels of much fewer individuals that was significantly more intimidating.
