St. Jude, St. Joe's, Mission, Hoag? Orange County

U.S.A. California

Published

I'm interviewing for full time staff positions at Mission, St. Jude's and St. Joseph's Hospitals. All are in Orange County, CA. I'm interested in the ICU and am not familiar with the hospitals, other than what I've previously researched on this website. Does anyone have any information like staff (do they like working here?), patient population, benefits, etc.? Since they're all part of the same healthcare network, do they pay the same rate or is one better paying than the other?

I wish Hoag were hiring right now, but no such luck.

Any help or feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey Chimaera-

How did you get the interviews? Are you just going to their drop in hours? I wish I had some information about those hospitals but I am in the same boat as you. I would also love to hear the answers to your qestions.

I applied at St. Jude for a advertised position and was sent an email telling me to come to the "walk in interview" they hold on Thursdays. Has anyone done this and what question does HR ask you? Do you get to talk with the manager of the unit if HR likes you?

Thanks
