  1. I'm interviewing for full time staff positions at Mission, St. Jude's and St. Joseph's Hospitals. All are in Orange County, CA. I'm interested in the ICU and am not familiar with the hospitals, other than what I've previously researched on this website. Does anyone have any information like staff (do they like working here?), patient population, benefits, etc.? Since they're all part of the same healthcare network, do they pay the same rate or is one better paying than the other? I wish Hoag were hiring right now, but no such luck. Any help or feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  2. Hi Everyone! I just took the NCLEX today, got 75 questions and honestly felt like I knew 3 answers total. I cannot wait to find out how I did! But I live in the wonderful state of California, which doesn't give us the option of calling on the telephone to check our results in 2 days. Plus they're supposedly very slow in processing the paperwork and verifying our results. Does anyone know if California will be integrating this function into their system (results via telephone) in the near future? Will we EVER be able to find out immediately whether or not we passed the exam, like they do for other computerized tests? Wouldn't it be great if the BON could just shoot us all a quick email saying, "Hey, you passed!" :) Good luck to everyone studying! My only advice is: RELAX. I think my nerves got the best of me today. Hopefully it didn't hinder my performance on the test.
