Question for all those who have taken or will take pathophysiology from SBCC

U.S.A. California

I'm currently enrolled for the summer session. It looks like a self paced class to me. Is that correct? The instructor has not put up a discussion board yet for me to ask, so I'm hoping someone here has taken the class and can tell me about the format.

I took pathophysiology from SBCC last summer. I took that class and pharmacology and remember it was extremely hectic! There are deadlines for quizzes, discussion boards, etc. And I'm pretty sure it was the patho class that had a paper due. You can work ahead if you want. Some teachers open up the whole term so you can get it done as quickly as you want, others just a few weeks.

They have a new instructor for Patho this year, but if it is the same as when I took it, they do post a couple weeks (not the entire semester) of quizes at a time so you could potentially go a little faster. However, as a six-week summer school course, I don't see how jumping ahead is humanly possible. It's a lot of material to cover in a short period of time!

The first half of the coursework (lessons 1-6) and the quizzes for them have already been posted. The deadline is in early July. So apparently it is self paced, and you just need to have the work completed by the stated deadline.
