Does anyone know about any community colleges without waitlist or short wait times???

Does the Concorde Career College require pre-requesites?

i actually just finished the lvn program at Concorde College (currently studying for NCLEX... wish me luck!)..:nuke:

and i really loved it.. the teachers are 110% there for you and really offer more than additional assistance if needed.. there are wonderful clinical instructors there that i've learned so much from and are also active working nurses at the best hospitals here in OC.. it IS expensive, but i also finished my prereq's and felt like i was just wasting time being on a waiting list.. in no way do i regret going to a private vocational school! hope that helps.:redbeathe

To get into LVN in Concorde Career College do you need your pre-requisites?

Concorde does not require any prerequisite classes for admission. It's a for-profit trade school that offers LVN programs in several states. As long as you can find a way to finance the very expensive tuition and pass the minimally difficult entrance exam, you are basically admitted into their LVN program. It is all about the money.

oh wow how expensive is it? And what is the entrance exam based on? General education exam or is it more related to nursing?

I believe that the tuition for their LVN programs in the Southern California area is in the $30,000 range.

Hi all, I'm new to the whole forum thing, and I know that this forum subject is more than 6 months old, but I am stuck in this situation too! I got laid off from work back in oct and I'm trying to go back to school but do not know witch route to take. At first I wanted to do everything trough Kaplan but was advice to not go trough that route because some hospitals would not even consider me. ( and this information came from nurses) so I was thinking of going to Concorde to do the LVN program. Im also considering going to national university and do their bridge program LVN-BSN program. I know there are cheaper programs like cc and health Ocupation but I can't afford to waste more time I have an 18 month old and I can't be on unemployment for ever, so the fast track would be the best route for me My question is would I be able to do the bridge program at NU considering that I got my diploma at concorde?? Please help any advice..
