Concorde's Medical Assistant or LVN Program?
Hi wesslyn06, I ended up doing the MA program first simply because I have no medical background, and I really enjoyed the course. I will be starting the LVN program in a couple of weeks the program is 13 months long I start on 9/06/11 and finish in 11/09/12. I do think it is a good school very strict wich I think is a very good trait to start before you even get into the field.. There NCLEX passing rate just made 100% for the year 2011, when I was looking into it they were at 92.7% for the 2010 year! Is a very intensive program, you will get dropped by the 2nd term if you can pass there pharmacollogy course with an 85% or higher. But like I say "short sacrifices for very long benefits". Are you looking into the concorde in San Diego or what Concorde are you looking into? I'm in SD..

Concorde's Medical Assistant or LVN Program?
Hi Everyone, I would like some Input regarding whether I should take the Medical assistant Program or their LVN Program. I have never been in the medical field. I am 24 years old and have a 18month old son. I scored high enough for the lvn program. My goal was to do the LVN program and then bridge to NU LVN-BSN program. But Concorde has advise me to start as an MA first. Please help what should I do??

Thank you very much for replying, yes i called, and they said that as long as i get my license it should not matter, Concorde has a 92.31% for the NCLEX so im sure i will be fine. Thanks again and good luck at NU!!! :)

private nursing schools in california
Hi all, I'm new to the whole forum thing, and I know that this forum subject is more than 6 months old, but I am stuck in this situation too! I got laid off from work back in oct and I'm trying to go back to school but do not know witch route to take. At first I wanted to do everything trough Kaplan but was advice to not go trough that route because some hospitals would not even consider me. ( and this information came from nurses) so I was thinking of going to Concorde to do the LVN program. Im also considering going to national university and do their bridge program LVN-BSN program. I know there are cheaper programs like cc and health Ocupation but I can't afford to waste more time I have an 18 month old and I can't be on unemployment for ever, so the fast track would be the best route for me My question is would I be able to do the bridge program at NU considering that I got my diploma at concorde?? Please help any advice..
