Hello. I am wondering if someone out there can give me advice in choosing a hospital to work at in the Bay Area? I live in
San Jose and want to find a thorough NICU New Grad program around here. Also, information regarding benefits would be great too. I will be graduating from SJSU's BSN program next December. Woo hoo! Thanks :)

Lucile Packard Children's Hospital (Stanford) has a good NICU program. I believe it starts in March and August .

Sorry I don't know too much about Northern California nursing.
Just want to say:
CONGRATULATIONS!
Stanford sounds like a good place to start.. I know Stanford has a lot of recognition.. I'm also considering Good Samaritan and Kaiser. If anybody knows any good Mother Baby units that would be helpful also.. thanks!

Hi SJSU Miami,
I do believe that Valley Medical Center has a NICU new grad program as well as Kaiser Santa Clara. As far as I know Good Sam will begin your training in Mother Baby and L&D and then move you as soon as you get the experience. I could be wrong.
Congrats on almost being done.
