National University Generic Entry BSN Los Angeles

U.S.A. California

Published

Hello Everyone!

Where do I start .. Well, if my transcripts arrive in time and the classes I previously took at community colleges transfer through like the adviser from NU said they would, I will be starting the Bio-medical Statistics this July. Does anyone have any tips or information about this class because math is my weakness and to make matters worse, it's an online class where it's practically self-taught .

The other pre-reqs I need to take are Information Literacy, Anatomy and Physiology I&II and Microbiology before I am able to apply for the program. Also, if i might add, I am a C average student :o in a lot of the electives that I took in the previous colleges and was wondering if there is still hope for me in this school, I know it's very competitive nowadays but has anyone been accepted in the program with an average gpa?

If there's anything you would like to add, any information will help!

Thank you!

:)

^ how did you do on the teas v and essay part?

I know this thread, is about 2 years old but I'm also interested in the BSN generic entry program at National and I got C's in both Anatomy and Physiology, I'm retaking them for a better grade (A or B), do you know if they'll take the higher grade? I just recently went to a Nursing forum and I overheard the speaker say that they would actually deduct points? Is this true? I'm taking these courses at a community college to save money. But I would really like some info. Thanks!

My kid will be ready to apply for BSN this Fall 14. imo if your grades are not high, it really doesn't hurt to also apply to CC for ADN as well(a lot cheaper if that matters, local, and you will be done in 2 years), and do one year bridge to BSN.

i am just starting at fresno campus on my pre reqs im sure this post is 4 years old so any adivse on the program?
