I am in my 50s and I am thinking about returning to school to study nursing. Which would provide for the best job opportunities in California, LVN or RN degree?

There are fewer and fewer LVN positions available. What kind of job do you want to get? You may be able to find work in a SNF as an LVN, but there's very little chance you'd get something in acute care/hospital.
