Just submitted application for Riverside Community College Fall 2013

Hi Everyone,

I was wanting to start a cohort for RCC Fall 2013 applicants. I just submitted my application and am studying for the teas V. Anyone else apply or am I the only one crazy enough to be worrying about it already?

I wanted a 90 on the teas as well, but also only got 85. I was kinda bummed until I noticed that my 85% put me in the 96percentile nationwide. That must mean that almost no one scores above a 90. I only studied for 1 week before the test. I took a practice test for a section, then skimmed the section focusing on The areas I needed. Then the day before I took the whole second practice test and again went back to review my weak points. Overall the test is really easy if you buy the study guide.

So excited to start the program! Are you guys going to get your vaccines/physical at rcc?

Hey guys I just found out I am on the standby list... I had 70 points which if I don't get in I have already retaken a class to boost me up to 75 in hopes of getting in for sure... not sure if anyone else is on the standby list. I called Steve Purdy and he said that there are 25 on the standby for fall 2013... hope I get in :)

I talked to the nursing adviser last fall and she said that for fall 2012, they ended up accepting their whole standby list plus 2 people that they rejected. So I think you still have great chances! Good luck :)

Hi. I am starting the program fall '13 (cohort B). I have just received my scrubs and the top is big on me. It is a size L (I have 2) and I am looking for M. Does anyone need to exchange/or want to switch with me and split the returns fees?
