afractaluniverse, we should keep looking for more testimonies. I would really like to get some first hand accounts before we get started. I'm not sure about getting a job later down the road. However I would think that a BSN will still stand out among peers. Often from what I hear, we will have to work in a less than ideal job in order to gain experience, work our way into where we find more satisfying. Only time will tell

SG12: I searched that title exactly in facebook, nothing popped up. Because I'm new to this website I can't personal message. Is the FB page working?

Personally, I have seen many Concordia grads at most of my clinical sites. From what I seen and the people I have talked to Concordia grads are not having that difficult of a time finding jobs.

Thanks cubanrob! Can you tell us anything about how the program is so far, in terms of workload, helpfulness of professors, and just your overall experience?

The program so far has been intense. First semester is jam packed and you are fighting to find time to do everything. Our little motto (thanks doulajess) was "surviving is thriving" without rambling on, the workload will push you to your limits. The professors are willing to help and will make time to help. At times they contact you before you contact them if you are struggling. As far as the overall experience it boils down to the people I am with on this journey. The members of my cohort have become my school family. They are people I rely on and count on to make it through. I had some rough days and it was the good friends I made in my cohort that helped get me through. I would suggest doing the same with yours. You will lean on eachother and need eachother when you need a boost. I love my wife and child and they are the reason I fight everyday for this goal, but it's these people in the trenches that make it bearable. See, I knew I would ramble.

A gentle reminder that it is against the Terms of Service to post links to social networking sites.
They may be described but no links are to be provided.
Thank you, and I wish you all success in your programs!
