What is the uniform policy at Children's Hospital of Orange County? I will be working in the NICU. Thanks.

I would think that information will be explained in orientation. Information you might get here could be outdated or incorrect. Policies change over time- perhaps someone who once worked there was only required to wear a certain color of scrubs but in the meantime the department may have gone to hospital provided and laundered scrubs as an infection control measure. If you don't want to wait until orientation, why not call HR or the unit manager for accurate, correct, and up to date information?

Thanks. I work nights on the east coast and thought I'd reach out to fellow nurses on the west coast to see if anyone currently employed had insight. The attire policy I received only addressed professional appearing dress. I'll be calling the human resources department when I am awake at the same time their offices are open. :)

As of February 2015 CHOC has no set scrub policy. No t-shirts and no hoodies are the only limitations.
