Bay Area CNA hospital jobs?

What kind of training/qualifications do I need to get a CNA hospital job in the SF bay area? Or any other entry level position that might come to mind for that matter?

I'm a 32 yo male with a BA in liberal arts and went through 2/3 of chiropractic school. Looking to get a foot in the door and gain some experience while redoing some old prereqs for RN programs.

Well, first you need to get your CNA.

I don't know about the big cities but in other areas acute care hospitals like experience, and the most likely place to get hired as a new CNA is an LTC.

I've seen posts by folks from other states mentioning hospitals that train CNA's, or getting a CNA plus some extra acute care training. Just not sure what the common practice is in this area. Seems like it varies by region.

It does vary. Best thing to do is call the local hospitals and ask if they have a CNA program. If they don't, ask who does.
