I just applied to Fresno City College for there Spring session. Just wondering who else applied and would like to join me in the countdown till the acceptance letters go out.:anbd:

I am happyfor you. As for me, not so good news . This was my 3rd lottery and I was not selected. Maybe next time. It might be better for me anyways. I have 2 small children at home 26mo & 10 mo. I actually don't know when I would have time to study. Well good luck in the program, keep me posted so that I know what to expect IF I ever get in!!!!

Well I got a call from the paradigm director asking if I was still "In Progress" and I told her yeah, and she told me it was a bummer because I was a great candidate based on my gpa and evaluation and this semester they stopped doing "In Progress" work and she did told me however to contact her once I submit my "In Progress" coursework and apply for the Summer Paradigm.

Also in regards to the Lottery System, I've been hearing rumors that they tend to choose applicants who have no restraints such as kids, marriage, financial problems, and etc. Hopefully I'm wrong because I know lots of applicants who busted their asses off hard going to school and at the same time supporting their family.

But as far as they picking applicants who have no restraints such as kids, marriage, financial problems, and etc. I find that not to be credible information, because when you submit your application they don't ask any questions about your personnal life or financial situations. Far as i can see they just check to make sure your pre-req's are complete and you have the required gpa.
