God bless the burn team...

at Lehigh Valley Hospital! My hats off to ALL of you involved in burn care! I severely burnt both hands on Friday , to the OR Weds. and home last night. Words cannot express my sincere appreciation for the nurses and PA's on my team, and my admiration for ALL of you in this difficult, but rewarding, field!

Hope all is well for you and your healing happens rapidly. Remember to keep up the nutrition and multivitamins to maximize your healing.

Default Hands
I am sorry your burned your hands and hope they heal well for you. I used to volunteer to float to burn from the onc/bmt unit I worked on if our census was low. I always felt either of those two units would be the place I could do the greatest good.

As a nurse on a burn unit, thank you for your kudos. But remember, it also takes a patient with good determination to make it all come together.
