Maricopa Waiting List / Placement / Timestamps 2010+

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

Hey everyone, I wanted to start a place for people to post and repost about waitlist times, placement runs, and their timestamps.

It is very hard searching for all the information and maybe people will access this thread and keep it updated with information so we all can get some idea on where we stand in line for Maricopa Nursing Placement.

As for me I have a

6/11/10 8:01:32 Timestamp. The placement just ran on March 6th,2012 and I was not placed. On the application website it says that the placement did NOT reach the June timestamps. This will mark 5 semesters that I was not placed (was expecting a 3 semester wait)

I am curious how far the placement ran. If people that were placed during the last placement run (3/6/12) come across this thread and would be willing to post their timestamp and what school choice number (1 through 5) they were placed in that would give an indicator how far away it is.

With almost 2500 people still on the waiting list it looks like it can be a 4-5 year wait for people just now getting on it. :(

Look forward to chatting with all of you and good luck.

Thank you for the info. Hopefully it isn't last months So that we have time to find and purchase the things.

To be honest, start looking for scrubs now. Its the same for most all schools. Here is the link.

You may even be able to find them from past students, get them for cheaper. They are good quality and will hold up so dont be worried to purchase used.

Books are items you can purchased used, but some need access codes for Evolve, so weigh out the option on those. Used do not come with the access codes usually. You can purchase them through Evolve, but again weigh the costs.

Collect as many NCLEX prep books you can. So helpful!

Hope this helps!

MCC orientation isnt till Jan, but welcome packets should be out by OCT 23.

I don't know any past students. How do we know if they didn't change the colors or something for this next semester?

Do you know if they run big or small? Idk what size I would be. I vary in brands. How many pairs are you getting?

2 pairs, just in case i dont get to the laundry or have it get soiled. lol

I think they run a little big. If you are apprehensive, the store is in tempe you could always go and try them on and then look around, online (craigslist) for that size. :)

Do you know how many days a week we will wear them? Since you said you know someone in the program maybe you know?

I tried on used scrubs the other day (check with your schools student nurse association, they may be selling them) and I think they pretty true to size, if not a little bigger.

Never heard of that at the college good to know thanks !
